Description (last modified by kristian) (diff)

This patch enables block devices to be opened withe the file storage option on Linux. It is not 100% tested, so no guarantees. To use a block device as storage, use the option -s file,/dev/somedevice,100%

You must add "100%", otherwise only 50% will be used, and emember to ABSOLUTELY sure you have selected the right device, otherwise you WILL loose data.

This patch is for r3197 of storage_file.c

When I tried this patch it had massive performance problems.

Should it still be merged in?

This has been invalidated by time.

If time turns back, re-opening makes sense.

Apologies for the somewhat dismissive treatment of this patch.
