log pid files on centos and logrotate

On CentOS 5.5, the logrotate.d/varnish has

/var/run/varnish/varnishncsa.pid

for the pid file, and so does the comment at the top of the
rc.d/init.d/varnishncsa script, but then in the body of the script, it
actually puts the pidfile in /var/run/varnishncsa.pid, so the SIGHUP
never gets to to the log process.

Is this a varnish issue, or a CentOS issue?

Chris
