 I am using this patch to fix libedit support for FreeBSD, which has these
 libraries installed in the base system and not as a package. It makes
 sense to use the readline library I think.

 I have to run all the auto tools to generate a new configure script
 because of the configure.ac patch. Would prefer not to.
