#295: Varnishd using all available memory, even using limited malloc
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
Reporter: ay | Owner: phk
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: Varnish 2.0 release
Component: build | Version: trunk
Severity: major | Resolution:
Keywords: leak memory malloc swap |
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
Comment (by phk):
Thankyou very much!
This jives well with the sort of experiences the firefox project had when
they switched to jemalloc, and with the fact that we see no such issues on
FreeBSD servers.
We have decided to import jemalloc and use that by default on the Linux
platform.
