 yes, i'm aware of that, but the 1.1 release (and 1.1.1 as well) seems to
 have some problems when hosting zope/plone sites, so many people are still
 using 1.0.4 for this...  so, merging the fix back to the 1.0 branch would
 really help running buildout-based setups on the development platform,
 i.e. a mac.
